A Comprehensive Tourism Feasibility Study was recently completed on behalf of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe in January of 2025. The purpose of the study was to identify opportunties for creating recreation and tourism initiatives for the The Band while creating revenues and increased employment opportunities. The Economic Development Division is now working to identify next steps on how to move forward with implementation of actionable items from the final study.
